Good People of Gainesville is a community project designed to recognize the resilient spirit and civic pride demonstrated by the citizens of Gainesville. It all started with a mural that was inspired by conversations with my grandmother about her experience as a survivor of one of the deadliest tornados in US history. The goal is to use the Good People theme to launch collaborative projects that help the community and shine light on the amazing individuals and families that have made great contributions to the history of my hometown.
